polypropylene tape is available in three types clear, brown and white non standard self coloured polypropylene include red, orange, yellow, green, blue, black and in three types of adhesive hot melt, acrylic and solvent. widths available are from 6mm upwards and common sizes include 6 9 12 18 25 38 48 75 100mm lengths are 66 132 990m
there are many grades of film available on the market and so we do not supply 25 micron grade or thinner as we consider these to break too frequently, our minimum standard is 28 micron and we can supply 30 35 and 50 micron (all grades exclude adhesive thickness)
we would recommend the use of a dispenser with adjustable brake when using this material and product should be stored and used in a warm enviroment to ensure performance
hot melt adhesive is suitable for sealing high wax content board, acrylic adhesive can be used in food freezer conditions and solvent for high grab situations
low noise variety is also available and is preferred by most packaging departments
